The gateway component of SignalServer contains connectors designed to bridge technological gaps across vendors. This lets us convert all technologies to a uniform open standard ready to use with our system.

Web services are employed to integrate location information from SignalServer to both Fleetspy and clients' existing systems.




For example, GPS-based devices can relay location information from company vehicles while employees in the field send status reports on jobs they are doing or have completed. Management can then use Fleetspy to see where employees are and communicate with them through instant messaging to their mobile devices.
